Here is a footwork drill that came up this morning with a personal training client that provided them with a physical target for the landing. These can also be done with 10kg plates, but why not use these brand new @keeppulling“Technique Boards”!?
This drill will teach the lifter to:
✅PUSH OFF the ground
✅Land flat and aggressively in receiving stance
✅Be confident with foot placement
When applied to the snatch or clean, it will prevent errors such as:
❌Sticking to the ground
❌Rocking the feet (makes the extension HIP-centric rather than using LEGS)
❌Inconsistent landings
