Keep Pulling is proud to announce that Patrick Costello has been selected as the Women’s Head Weightlifting Coach for Team USA at the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru!

The FISU America Games is an international multi-sport event featuring top university athletes from across North, Central, and South America. The competition will take place July 19–24, 2026 and serves as one of the premier international opportunities for collegiate athletes representing the United States.

Costello’s selection comes following the qualification of Keep Pulling athlete Andrea Barrows, who earned her place on this international team through her national-level performances.

As Women’s Head Coach, Patrick will be responsible for Team USA athletes throughout training and competition during the Games. Due to limited staffing allocations at the event, he will also assist with the Men’s team as well as general logistics and planning for the delegation as a whole.

Patrick has been coaching in the sport of Weightlifting since 2009 and has coached athletes at the local, national, and international level through Keep Pulling in Tampa, Florida.

SUPPORT OUR TRIP

While Team USA athletes may receive partial support, coaching and staff positions for this event are fully self-funded. To help offset travel and lodging costs associated with the assignment, Keep Pulling has launched a fundraising campaign supporting the trip to Peru.
