Keep Pulling athlete Andrea Barrows has officially been selected to represent the United States at the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru this July.

The FISU America Games is an international multi-sport event featuring top university athletes from across North, Central, and South America. The Games will take place July 19–24, 2026 and serve as one of the premier international opportunities for collegiate athletes representing Team USA.

Barrows earned her position on Team USA after winning her 4th University National Championship title in Salt Lake City, UT — a performance that entered her into the FISU America Games as the #1 ranked female athlete on the team!

This marks Barrows’ third international Team USA selection in Olympic Weightlifting. In 2022, she represented the United States at the Junior Pan American Championships in Lima, Peru, where she placed 5th overall in the 76KG category. She followed that performance with a championship-winning outing at the 2024 FISU America Games, earning the title of 77KG Champion.

Over the past several years, Barrows has continued to establish herself as one of the top collegiate female Weightlifters in the country through consistent national-level performances and international success.

The 2026 FISU America Games will once again bring together top university athletes from across the Americas, with Team USA competing against some of the best young athletes in the sport.

To help support the trip to Peru, Keep Pulling has launched a fundraising campaign to assist with travel and competition-related expenses.
