First USF Weightlifting Club Practice of Fall 2025!

Posted on Posted in Olympic Weightlifting, USFWL

The University of South Florida Weightlifting Club officially held its first practice of the semester this past weekend, and started with some big energy! Hosted off-site at Keep Pulling Weightlifting, the session brought together new and returning Bulls eager to sharpen their technique and build strength in the snatch and clean & jerk.

As the club’s partner training facility since 2018, Keep Pulling is proud to provide a space for USF students to experience the sport of Olympic Weightlifting at a higher level. The first practice set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season: athletes were introduced to structured training, technical progressions, and the supportive environment that makes our club unique.

We’re always excited to see the next generation of lifters come through the doors. USF has so much potential and it’s inspiring to watch these athletes commit themselves to learning the sport the right way. The club’s kickoff practice not only showcased promising talent but also reinforced the values of consistency, discipline, and teamwork. With a semester full of training ahead, the USF Weightlifting Club is poised to grow stronger—both on and off the platform.

Keep Pulling looks forward to supporting these student-athletes as they develop into confident lifters and carry on the tradition of Weightlifting excellence in Tampa!
