Gyms in Florida Announced to Open…We’re BACK!

Posted on Posted in Olympic Weightlifting

Today was the day we’ve been waiting for after eight long weeks of Florida’s stay-at-home orders; Governor DeSantis announced that all gyms and fitness centers will be permitted to reopen!

We’re excited to get back to normal life and training, but what does that mean for us as we get back into our home away from home? Read on to learn more about our policies and procedures moving forward!

We will be continuing our policies that we implemented in early March before the mandatory shutdown orders:

✅Class sizes limited to 8 people
✅All class participants MUST register in advance online; including current members
✅Class/training times are 3:30PM, 4:30PM, 5:30PM, and 6:30PM
✅Drop ins are case-be-case; you must contact us ahead of time!
❌Open Gym times are no longer permitted until further notice

✅Coaches will check you into class
✅Removal of chalk bowls and shared chalk (BYO-Chalk!)
✅Social distancing at all times
✅Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at your own discretion
